Welcome! From Will & Mary K. Dallas ![]() For those of you who are new to Straight Talk, either from what I write or from life in general, let me assure you that there is no political correctness here! Every word is penned for the purpose of helping people develop a deeper understanding of God's love, build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, then carry that message of great love to those that have not heard. Straight Talk was birthed in mid 2000, when divorce left my family devastated and my ministry ambitions in shambles. God showed to me a better way to communicate His love and kindness through this ministry, and I give Him all of my praise for that. It has been a comfort to me knowing that some of you have been encouraged during your own personal trials by a little Straight Talk from time to time. The focus of "Straight Talk" has been to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through
the telling of short stories from our lives and relating the events to Biblical truth. With the darkness of the world pressing in on us at an alarming rate,
I have started sending messages of encouragement and hope for both the believer in Jesus, and the person that is searching for something to fill the void in their life.
My beautiful wife, Mary K, and I invite you to visit here often, stay as late as you like,
and avail yourselves of the various tools, that will be added here from time to time, to strengthen your own personal walk with Jesus.
If you really want to be encouraged from a woman's perspective, (always a good thing), visit Mary K's ministry page, "Mary K's Porch ". Believing that everyone in ministry needs to be submitted to seasoned spiritual authority, we have asked Pastors Billy and Dot Traughber of Bethel Family Worship Center in Lafayette, Tennessee to keep us in line (mostly me!). These wonderful folks are feeding the hungry, praying for the sick and winning the lost with tremendous results! "Ministry Links".
We have learned much about the long term, in home care of Alzheimer's victims through Mary K's ministry to my mother for the past eight plus years. Information can be found here that will help the family members that are committed to caring for their loved ones. From time to time we will be updating and adding to the information. Feel free to contact us at anytime if you need help so we can prayerfully steer you in the right direction. "Alzheimer's Notes"
In His Grip,
